Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the central recordkeeping agency shall apply to the Central Board in Form 10 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Central Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
