Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the importer of liquor shall apply to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Deputy Commissioner of Excise shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
