Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the commissioner appointed by the court shall apply to the High Court in Form F for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the High Court shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
