Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the lessee of Government land shall apply to the Sub-Divisional Officer in Form 14 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
