Surrender of certificate.—Every operator of a waste treatment facility who ceases to carry on the treatment of waste shall, within one hundred and eighty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Environmental Appellate Authority in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form VIII of the manner in which every sample of effluent held by him has been disposed of.
