Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a waste treatment facility shall apply to the Environmental Appellate Authority in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Environmental Appellate Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
