Rule 2, Uttarakhand Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (Appeals) Rules, 2014 [S5W-3KW]

Definitions.—In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957); (b) "user of the national emblem" means a person carrying on the use of the national emblem; (c) "report of the commission" means a report of the commission received, held or disposed of by a user of the national emblem in the course of the use of the national emblem; (d) "Form D" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
