Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any holder of land in excess of the ceiling dies, his legal representative shall, within ninety days of the death, intimate the death to the Sub-Divisional Officer in Form 3, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every mutation then held; and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall enter the intimation in the register within sixty days of its receipt.
