Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the nominee of an insured person shall apply to the Standing Committee in Form 1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Standing Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
