Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the company issuing shares shall apply to the Stamp Revenue Board in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Stamp Revenue Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
