Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a mine shall apply to the Regional Controller of Mines in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Regional Controller of Mines shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
