Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the railway servant shall apply to the Railway Claims Tribunal in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees, and the Railway Claims Tribunal shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
