Application for registration.—Every landlord letting premises to foreigners carrying on the letting of premises to foreigners shall make an application for registration to the civil authority in Form D, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand five hundred rupees and a statement of every register of foreigners held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for forty-five days from that date.
