Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the company shall apply to the Official Liquidator in Form MGT-7 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Official Liquidator shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
