Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any landlord letting premises to foreigners dies, his legal representative shall, within one hundred and eighty days of the death, intimate the death to the civil authority in Form C, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every registration certificate then held; and the civil authority shall enter the intimation in the register within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.
