Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a loudspeaker during an election shall apply to the Returning Officer in Form 26 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Returning Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ten days of the application.
