Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a ferry shall apply to the Maritime Board in Form 4 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Maritime Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
