Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Authorised Officer in the custody of the Export Inspector, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Authorised Officer; and where the Export Inspector having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form FC-4 within ninety days of the succession.
