Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of an aircraft shall apply to the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau in Form CA-2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees, and the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
