Surrender of certificate.—Every permit holder who ceases to carry on the use of a transport vehicle shall, within ninety days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 1 of the manner in which every trip sheet held by him has been disposed of.
