Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any permit holder dies, his legal representative shall, within forty-five days of the death, intimate the death to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal in Form 23, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every certificate of registration then held; and the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal shall enter the intimation in the register within seven days of its receipt.
