Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any registered proprietor of a design dies, his legal representative shall, within three hundred and sixty-five days of the death, intimate the death to the Plant Varieties Authority in Form 9, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every register then held; and the Plant Varieties Authority shall enter the intimation in the register within three hundred and sixty-five days of its receipt.
