Surrender of certificate.—Every registered proprietor of a design who ceases to carry on the application of a registered design shall, within three hundred and sixty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Plant Varieties Authority in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 27 of the manner in which every design held by him has been disposed of.
