Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the employee shall apply to the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority in Form 10 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
