Application for registration.—Every publisher of news on a digital platform carrying on the publication of news on a digital platform shall make an application for registration to the Press Council in Form VII, within twenty-one days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees and a statement of every declaration held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for twenty-one days from that date.
