Application for registration.—Every owner of premises used as a polling station carrying on the use of premises as a polling station shall make an application for registration to the Chief Electoral Officer in Form 8, within ten days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every poster held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
