Surrender of certificate.—Every company secretary in practice who ceases to carry on the practice as a company secretary shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Tribunal in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form DIR-12 of the manner in which every minutes book held by him has been disposed of.
