Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a building near a defence work shall apply to the Commanding Officer of the Unit in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Commanding Officer of the Unit shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
