Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a slaughter house shall apply to the Designated Officer in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Designated Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
