Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any owner of a building near a defence work dies, his legal representative shall, within seven days of the death, intimate the death to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief in Form F, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every register then held; and the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief shall enter the intimation in the register within seven days of its receipt.
