Application for registration.—Every insurance agent carrying on the soliciting of insurance business shall make an application for registration to the Insurance Information Bureau in Form IRDA-6, within twenty-one days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees and a statement of every register of policies held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
