Surrender of certificate.—Every insurance agent who ceases to carry on the soliciting of insurance business shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Insurance Information Bureau in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form IRDA-3 of the manner in which every survey report held by him has been disposed of.
