Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the trader shall apply to the State Commission in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the State Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
