Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the employer of foreigners shall apply to the Protector of Emigrants in Form X for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Protector of Emigrants shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
