Regulation 2, TRAI (Records and Returns of Amateur radio operators) Regulations, 2006 [S5D-J3B]

Definitions.—In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 1997 (24 of 1997); (b) "amateur radio operator" means a person carrying on the operation of an amateur radio station; (c) "authorisation" means a authorisation received, held or disposed of by a amateur radio operator in the course of the operation of an amateur radio station; (d) "Form H" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
