Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the election agent shall apply to the Electoral Registration Officer in Form 8 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Electoral Registration Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
