Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the registered user shall apply to the Registrar in Form 3 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Registrar shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within three hundred and sixty-five days of the application.
