Safe custody.—Every owner of a vehicle within a cantonment shall keep every register of contractors to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the plying of a vehicle within a cantonment is carried on, shall record in Form G the description of every register of contractors so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the Station Commander within sixty days of the close of each year.
