Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the generator of hazardous waste shall apply to the Divisional Forest Officer in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Divisional Forest Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
