Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the ship repairer shall apply to the Conservator of the Port in Form 3 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Conservator of the Port shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
