Application for registration.—Every owner of a contract carriage carrying on the plying of a contract carriage shall make an application for registration to the Transport Commissioner in Form 30, within fifteen days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees and a statement of every certificate of fitness held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
