Clause 2, Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) (Institution Control) Order, 2025 [S59-PW5]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988 (Andhra Pradesh Act 10 of 1988); (b) "working women's hostel" means a person carrying on the running of a working women's hostel; (c) "order" means a order received, held or disposed of by a working women's hostel in the course of the running of a working women's hostel; (d) "Form VII" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
