Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a building in a vulnerable area shall apply to the State Executive Committee in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the State Executive Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one day of the application.
