Surrender of certificate.—Every registrar of births and deaths who ceases to carry on the registration of births and deaths shall, within ninety days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Maintenance Tribunal in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form VI of the manner in which every succession certificate held by him has been disposed of.
