Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any registrar of births and deaths dies, his legal representative shall, within ninety days of the death, intimate the death to the Maintenance Tribunal in Form VII, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every notice of intended marriage then held; and the Maintenance Tribunal shall enter the intimation in the register within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
