Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the agent shall apply to the Regional Controller of Mines in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Regional Controller of Mines shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within three hundred and sixty-five days of the application.
