Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the kazi shall apply to the Family Court in Form IV for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Family Court shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
