Application for registration.—Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application for registration to the Settlement Officer in Form 1, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees and a statement of every patta held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
