Clause 2, Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj (Market Control) Order, 2024 [S57-J0Q]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 (Uttar Pradesh Act 26 of 1947); (b) "licensee of a village bus stand" means a person carrying on the running of a village bus stand; (c) "market" means a market received, held or disposed of by a licensee of a village bus stand in the course of the running of a village bus stand; (d) "Form 6" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
