Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a departmental library shall apply to the Central Government in Form 7 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Central Government shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
